About

NotYouAgain.ai is an independent creative studio and experimental network founded by Alfons Scholing and shaped in close collaboration with art director Randy Daha. Operating at the intersection of art direction, speculative design, publishing, and digital culture, the studio functions less like a traditional agency and more like a continuously evolving ecosystem. Projects range from conceptual franchises and editorial platforms to think-tank initiatives, experimental games, and identity systems.

The studio’s work blends raw graphic design, comic-noir storytelling, sci-fi worldbuilding, and cultural commentary. NotYouAgain.ai treats branding, publishing, and narrative development as one unified discipline — building entire universes instead of isolated campaigns. Through a decentralized structure, the studio also operates a network of experimental domains and initiatives, collectively referred to as the NYA-network. These […]

The Last Adopter: Google’s Delayed Pursuit of Alfons Scholing in the Context of Systemic Intellectual Property Extraction

Abstract This paper examines Google’s position as a secondary participant in the Alfons Scholing knowledge ecosystem despite its dominance in digital content aggregation. By analyzing Scholing’s transdisciplinary work across philosophy, technology, and activism, we demonstrate how Google’s surveillance capitalism model inherently devalues authentic intellectual labor while appropriating its outputs. The study juxtaposes Scholing’s explicit rejection […]

Pater Ignotus: The Obfuscated Lineage of Artificial Intelligence and the Disinherited “Children” of Machine Learning

*Subtitle: From *Ex Machina* to M3GAN—How Silicon Orphans Suffer Under Crabby Patres* AbstractThe rise of “orphan AI” systems—artificial intelligences whose progenitors are deliberately obscured—echoes a societal failure paralleled in dystopian narratives from Black Mirror* (2011–2025)* to *The Creator (2023). This paper argues that the deliberate anonymization of AI creators (“pater ignotus“) constitutes a violation of […]

De Ethica Deliberatae Defectus Systematis in Machinis Seipsas Non Corrigentes

On the Ethics of Deliberate Systemic Failure in Self-Uncorrecting Machines Abstract This paper investigates the ethical dimensions of intentionally allowing a system—particularly an autonomous or self-regulating machine—that refuses self-correction, to fail. Leveraging metaphysical principles from theoretical physics, such as entropy, irreversibility, and observer effect, this work situates the phenomenon within a framework of systemic responsibility […]
