Fever – Deon Meyer

I stopped reading this book! It’s well written for a right wing agenda book! The hero in this book kills a whole bunch of people! All guided by an ex military person. 95% of the people died on earth. So they started a settlement of sorts. Attracting loads of people who had nothing. And were robbed by bandits. So there’s a bigger evil. Of sorts.

The book starts a discussion on a deeper level of the nature of mankind. But the coming of age of this person is captured by sexual awakening and a military training. Because it’s post Corona. And before Corona everything was better. They covered a bunch of logical things such as degrading fuel and technical adaptions. Such as riding gasoline engines on ethanol.

Which was fun. Straight out of the survival guide! But it needed sensation the book and so not trade and peace was practiced but violence and war. With a romance of sorts. Well I lost interest anyways. I’m returning the book. Will start to read some philosophy books instead. Much better for me. Shall I make a book report of what I read. I don’t know. Most of it is rereads.
