Official Professional Statement – Design & Creative Services

This statement serves to clarify my current professional position and working conditions.

I am a 47-year-old independent graphic designer (turning 48 in July), working in collaboration with my art direction partner Randy as a creative duo. All work we undertake is delivered on a strictly professional, paid basis. Any previous arrangements involving unpaid or informal labor are no longer applicable.

Effective immediately, all creative services must be contracted and paid in advance or according to agreed milestones prior to delivery.

Standard indicative rates are as follows:

• Hourly commercial design work: €150 – €250 per hour
• Graffiti / mural wall projects: starting from €500 minimum
• Website design & development: €4,000 – €8,000 depending on complexity and functionality (including e-commerce integration where applicable)
• E-commerce / print-on-demand systems: €1,000 – €4,000 depending on scope and configuration

These rates reflect professional industry standards and are aligned with established design sector frameworks, including those commonly used within Dutch professional design practice.

All engagements are subject to formal agreement, clear scope definition, and upfront confirmation of terms.

No work will be initiated without mutual consent on pricing and deliverables.

This is not a statement of negotiation, but of professional structure going forward.
